Tuesday September 5th Part 2

The drive from Portland to my campsite in The Olympic National forest was uneventful and that is a very good thing. I arrived and got my camp all set up. And then got in touch with my cousin.

The camp sites are huge!
Cathy an Joe’s house in Union, WA

The drive over to Cathy and Joes took me a little over two hours. They were gracious enough to have me for dinner and spend the night! So now I don’t have to drive back to the campground in the dark!

This morning when I wrote the first entry in this blog I forgot to mention one of the things Logan, Alex and I did was to go over to John and Jeff’s house for dinner.

I am still blaming Jeff for being the cause of this whole trip.. But I am so grateful to both of them for introducing Diane to the whole Passport thing. It really did bring her a lot of Joy.

Time for this one to head for bed. Tomorrow I will be getting the stamp for The Olympic National Park. It looks like the closest place to do that will be another two hour or more drive. I’ll let you know how it all plays out tomorrow….
