To say that the day didn’t start quite like I would have liked it to , is a huge understatement.
I was shooting to be on the road by 9:00am at the very latest. I almost made it! I got everything packed up and loaded. I pulled the car up the driveway so I could take a picture. Then I went to open up the app on my phone that I use to control the trailer brakes. No phone….. couldn’t find it! I backtracked my steps, no phone. I ended up unpacking the entire car, still no phone! I was getting just a tad upset with myself. Then I finally found it under the drivers seat. I had just lost an hour and a half by then.
The drive was uneventful and that is a very good thing! I did discover that people in Oklahoma are used to driving fast while on the highway. The speed limit is 75 mph on the highway. I’m not used to driving that fast while pulling my little camper.
Speaking of my little camper….. it has undergone a transformation from last year.

These pictures are of last years model.

These pictures are of this years version. It is much easier to set up!
So the first day is in the books. On to Albuquerque tomorrow!
