Tom's National Park Adventure

I have been waiting for Milton to have his way with the state of Florida. My wait is over and later this evening I will be heading south to Plantation, FL.

I wanted to thank everyone who reached out making sure I was safe from the storm. I have been very safe in my sister’s lovely home. I can’t thank Sandy and Richard enough for their generosity!

My largest concern is that I don’t know for certain what kind of issues I may encounter on my drive. There are several roads that are still underwater and there is going to be storm debris on the roads too. I just don’t know what or when I will run into them.

I will post an update once I have reached my destination safely.

I am so relieved to report that all of my friends I was supposed to be visiting in the Tampa and Ft Meyers areas are all safe. That is the most important thing.
